With just four en-suite bedrooms per apartment, it’s a modern, sociable way to live – without compromising on personal space.

Absolutely, you can! We’re rolling out the red carpet for you at our marketing suite. You’ll get to explore one of our signature studios and a Classic shared apartment room, meet some of the friendly faces who will be onsite with you, and really get a feel for life at Guildford Plaza.

Once we officially open in Summer 2025, you’re more than welcome to swing by for a tour. Wander through our co-living and co-working spaces, soak up the atmosphere, and (subject to availability) check out our range of studios and shared apartments. Trust us – you’ll be planning your move in before you know it.

Short answer: pretty much everything. Long answer: your rent covers a fully-furnished studio or apartment, utilities like electricity and water (Guildford Plaza is gas-free), superfast 1GB WiFi, a 24/7 concierge and security, and access to all our co-living and co-working spaces.

What’s not included? Council tax and a TV licence – those are on you. Council tax depends on your personal circumstances, so give Guildford Borough Council a ring when you’ve moved in. And while the rent doesn’t cover contents insurance or the laundry room, insurance is available at an additional cost and the laundry room charges in the same way a launderette would.

Cleaning? Here’s the deal: you’re in charge of keeping your own studio sparkling, but our fab housekeeping team will handle all the communal spaces. Fancy someone else giving your studio a spruce-up? Our onsite team can arrange studio cleaning and bed linen changes for a small additional cost.

Moving in as a couple? No problem. Our rates are based on single occupancy, but dual occupancy is available for an additional monthly fee. Just have a word with our team during booking.

Good? Good?! We like to think we’ve hit the jackpot when it comes to location. Smack in the heart of Guildford, we’re just a four-minute amble to the town centre’s buzzing restaurants, bars, shops, and more. Fancy a train ride? Guildford railway station is a quick five-minute stroll. And if you’re in the mood for a peaceful riverside ramble, the banks of the River Wey are three minutes away.

Need a proper escape? You can be in the stunning Surrey Hills in under 15 minutes. For the commuters among you, Surrey Research Park is an easy eight-minute drive, Woking is less than 20 minutes away, and central London is a breezy 35-minute train ride. What more could you ask for?

First things first: pick your favourite room type. Once you’ve done that, fill out our contact form, and one of our lovely team members will be in touch quicker than you can say “Guildford Plaza” to go over availability, location, move-in dates, and tenancy lengths.

Next, we’ll ask you for a few details and documents so we can run a referencing check, plus affordability and credit checks. Don’t worry – we don’t take a deposit, though there might be an upfront cost that’ll be deducted from your total rent.

Once that’s sorted, you’ll receive your licence agreement and tenancy confirmation. And voilà – you’re ready to move in and start your Guildford Plaza adventure.
